Our Wedding Day:
Our Wedding Day in Zakynthos was exactly what we had dreamed. We simply did not want a traditional 'English' wedding with sit down meals and high costs but wanted a beautiful setting and guaranteed good weather. We felt strongly about keeping the wedding day informal, simple, quiet and private but wanted a great party afterwards!
When we looked at the photos of Archontiko Koytsis (recommended by Athena Souli) we knew we had found the place. It was big enough for nearly all of us (24 in total), made extremely homely by the Koytsis family, and in honesty none of us wanted to leave! It was so beautiful; we decided to have the wedding ceremony there too.
In keeping with the informal wedding day, we decided to have the ceremony in the evening sun (so we didn't melt in our dress and suit) and follow it with a simple traditional Greek Barbecue.
Well, what can we say, the whole day was a dream! The ceremony was incredibly beautiful in every way. After that, once the wedding jitters had subsided, everything just flowed - the champagne flowed, the food was amazing, the dancing was great fun and everyone had a wonderful time.
We were so happy when we saw the photos and the DVD for the first time.

Athena Souli, our coordinator, and her team made our wedding day unforgettable. Everything we asked for was achieved in a calm and professional manner, with no hiccups or problems.
Initially we were quite indecisive about accommodation and location but Athena was very patient and always came back with alternative suggestions to meet any new requests we had.
We spoke to Athena a great deal over the phone and by email months before our wedding while making the major arrangements, so when we got to Zakynthos most of the work was already done! She came to meet us on arrival and popped in to see us every now and then to make sure we were happy and comfortable. She provided us with her mobile number to ensure she could be reached at any time, although she had everything under such great control we didn't even use it!
We would be happy to recommend Athena and her team to everyone who wishes to get married on a beautiful island with beautiful people, with no hassle, and no worries. Thank you again to Sofia, Maria, Penny, the whole Koytsis family, everyone at Eurosky and of course, Athena!
