Athena was born and brought up in Zante Island, Greece, renowned as the island of culture. After completing her education in UK (BA in University of Greenwich & MSc in Liverpool J.M. University), she works as a wedding consultant and travel director for "Eurosky Travel" a local family run company.
On 2006, she was also elected to represent local government in the industry of tourism promoting Zante Island to foreign countries.

Eurosky Travel is licensed by the Greek Ministry of Tourism & The Greek National Tourist Organization. By Greek law it is obligatory to be licensed by the Greek Ministry of tourism in order to be a legitimate provider of travel services and organize weddings in Greece. Our four offices are located conveniently in the center of Zante town, in the center of Laganas resort as well as in the center of Kalamaki resort (2 branches). In addition, unlike many local wedding coordinators, who operate from their homes without a license, we are an accredited business with professional and caring staff.
